Vernon Beltran, also known by his tag name, OVIE, and Stanley Carson, known as SERGE, were caught at the MTA Westchester Yard and Maintenance Facility around 1:30 a.m. after sneaking in to create graffiti with a group of friends, the sources allege.
Beltran, who sources say was arrested with paint on his hands and clothes, was featured in a 1996 New York Times article where he vowed to paint legally and talked about the hardships of going legit.
