The 'weirdness' of an orb thought to have been painted by Leonardo da Vinci may have been solved by a team of experts.

The oil painting, known as Salvator Mundi (Saviour of the World) depicts Christ holding a glass orb that 'doesn't appear to magnify the image behind it as expected'.
